Mr. Alan J. Joynes is from West Philadelphia, PA now living in the State of Delaware. Mr. Joynes graduated from The University of Pittsburgh where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree and majored in Black Studies and Education.  Mr. Joynes graduated from Temple University where he earned his Masters’ Degree of Social Work Administration and in 2010 earned a Teaching in Higher Education Certification. He is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LSW) in the State of Delaware. Mr. Joynes has been working in higher education for over 25 plus years and has worked with students from Pre-K through Graduate School.

Mr. Joynes is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor in Department of Sociology, the School of Social Work and a Career Coach/Data Specialist for the Youth Employment Project (YEP) at Temple University. Mr. Joynes is a seasoned professional with varied leadership and teaching experiences.
