Philadelphia Youth Network’s (PYN) Work Ready Summer program offers Philadelphia young people opportunities for career exploration and learning about career pathways. WorkReady is a paid opportunity where participants will receive either wages or incentives by completing a summer experience. Provider partners offer year-round or summer opportunities which may have additional eligibility requirements. Temple University's WorkReady is a program in July-August for youth living in Philadelphia.

Step 1: Apply for WorkReady and find the right program at workready.org. Young people must apply each year. Use an email account you have access to and keep your application password handy.
Step 2: After completing the online application email us at [click-for-email] to state you’re interested in working with us this upcoming summer and request our provider referral code.
Step 3: A staff member will review the online application and send email inviting youth and their parent/guardian to upload or drop off vital documents. Please have these documents ready in case you are selected:

Young people will be placed at various worksites across the city to complete summer experiences, so site location is TBD. Provider information and office location are below.
