Shirley Moy, MSW, is the Executive Director of the Lenfest Center for Community Workforce Partnerships at Temple University.  

Many of the programs under LCCWP are geared to at-risk youth, including youth in high school, Opportunity Youth (ages 16 to 24 years), and other adults who are disengaged from educational and employment opportunities. This role has resulted in positive working relationships with other workforce and other service providers and will contribute to Temple’s ability to continue to support the North Philadelphia community.

As the current director of Temple University’s Lenfest Center for Community and Workforce Development Partnerships, I have managed and served as the Principal Investigator on federally funded demonstration programs, state-funded training programs, and locally funded youth development initiatives. Each of these programs involves multiple partnerships across different disciplines and includes an emphasis on community engagement. My passions are reflected in my decision to pursue a social work career and experience working with vulnerable youth populations and supporting community engagement efforts.
